Chaz Bono Talks Cher, Brangelina and More Surgery

The movie, chronicling Chaz's gender makeover and its aftermath, will premiere on OWN -- the Oprah Winfrey Network -- at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The staff was taking pictures "The Actual Ellen Story," a behind-the-scenes look at comedian Ellen DeGeneres' historic coming-out episode on her eponymous sitcom, and interviewed Chastity for the piece.

Years later, they acquired a cellphone name from their outdated friend, who was about to endure intercourse-reassignment surgical procedure -- the removing of a pair of pendulous breasts -- and large injections of testosterone. However even the directors had been stunned by what they bought spending time with Chaz, Jen, the couple's satisfaction of hairless cats (you will not be able to take your eyes off an especially overweight one) and a Chihuahua named Rocco.

As a personality, Jennifer is a a lot greater personality than her mate. Before the operation, she asks the doctor if he's "ever accomplished surgery on breasts this large."

Chaz is shorter-tempered than Chastity was and more aggressive, too, with the intercourse drive of Wilt Chamberlain. Though, not having had the "backside surgery," he does not have all the boy parts. The process is costly, "virtually like buying a automobile," Chaz says.

And, fact be advised, a little dull.

"Jenny says that I'm not as sweet as I was," Chaz explains within the film. "However I was a lump within the sofa who could not take care of life." Chaz reveals dark days of addictions to painkillers, video video games and episodes of "Touched by an Angel." Bono 2.zero was "extra current," Barbato says. His character blossomed. "It was greater than seeing him grow to be a man -- it was kind of feeling him turn into a man."

That's heavy.

"It is heavy for us -- we predict, 'Oh my God, she's Chastity, blond-haired Chastity. Oh my God, Chastity's a man!' Think about what it is like in your mom? But Cher's a giant star and an enormous homosexual icon, and I believe that people anticipate gay icons to be superhuman."
Chaz Bono is a bit nervous of running into Michael Chiklis some day.

Why?

Cher admits in the documentary (premiering tonight on OWN as part of the new The Doc Membership With Rosie O'Donnell) that she hasn't had a simple time of it. However Bono is assured his mother is coming around. "At this level, I'm not proud of the expertise and I do not really feel snug doing something about it," he says.

However, he isn't ruling it out completely. He is attending an upcoming transgender medical convention in Atlanta, the place he says, "I'll be actually interested to speak to some of the medical doctors to search out out what's on the horizon."

I'm a boy!' I've a lot respect for these youngsters that do."

Bono does not know Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and would not assume something about their daughter Shiloh's choice to decorate more boyishly, but the media's attention to the story did shed some gentle on gender identity. "I'd love to speak to them in some unspecified time in the future," Bono says, "to no less than let them know we've got this useful resource for them in the event that they ever want it."

Even so, Bono says, "People get too freaked out about children and what to do with kids. He then provides with amusing, "But if he had been alive, I feel it could have been a bit extra challenging."
